A traditional 310 gsm, 100% α-cellulose, mould-made paper originally designed for copperplate printing. Its heavyweight, velvety texture and finely defined felt structure add dimension and depth to an image, giving it a tactile presence rather than a flat surface. A premium matte inkjet coating delivers accurate color and deep blacks. Acid- and lignin-free, and ISO 9706 conformant for the most demanding archival standards.
A 315 gsm, 100% cotton paper that serves as a contemporary alternative to traditional analog baryta. Its natural white, warm tone, achieved without optical brighteners, pairs with a high-gloss inkjet coating for deep blacks, strong contrast, and an elegant sheen without glare. Acid- and lignin-free, and ISO 9706 conformant for museum-level longevity.
My prints are professionally matted with 4-ply RagMat Museum board, milled from 100% virgin cotton with no wood pulp, acid, or lignin, the same material standard used by conservators and museums for long-term preservation. The color runs solid through the full depth of the board, so the bevel edge matches the face color exactly rather than showing a white core.
Behind every mat, prints are backed with 1/8" acid-free mounting board, lightweight, rigid, and free of the acids that cause paper and photographic materials to yellow or degrade over time. It keeps the print flat and stable inside the frame without introducing anything that could compromise the archival quality of the paper or the mat above it.
